The practice
An established practice, familiar faces
Rivonia Family Practice was founded in 1994 and has grown into a small group practice in Edenburg. Dr Sam and Dr Sumien have worked together since 2005, and Dr Tamsyn joined the team in 2025.
Consultations are unhurried by design. We take a full history, examine thoroughly, and follow up on how you are progressing afterwards.

General medical consultations
Everyday medical care for patients of every age, with time set aside to take a full history and examine thoroughly.
Annual full medical examinations
A comprehensive yearly examination that includes stress ECG and lung function testing.
Annual gynaecological examinations
Routine annual women's health examinations carried out at the practice.
Minor surgical procedures
Small surgical procedures performed in our rooms, with follow-up to check on healing.
IV drip bar
An intravenous drip service run by the practice's nursing sister.
Chiropractic services
Chiropractic care provided by our in-house chiropractic practitioner.
